Customer contacted us regarding an issue with foul drains that had become obstructed. Following an intensive high-pressure jetting procedure to clear the blockage, a CCTV survey was conducted to ascertain the underlying cause. It was discovered that roots had infiltrated through a inadequately repaired section of the pipeline. An excavation was performed to remove the one-meter section, which was subsequently replaced with PVC. The 16.5-meter length of pipe was then relined beneath the roadway between the manholes, ensuring a watertight seal to avert any potential future fractures.
